Baloch Freedom Fighters Maintain Control of Zehri City for 10 Days

The Zehri area of Khuzdar has reportedly been under the control of Baloch insurgents for the past ten days, with Pakistani forces facing a series of intense attacks at various locations.

On August 11, Baloch Freedom Fighters addressed a gathering in Zehri town, while military convoys attempting to advance into the area were targeted in multiple assaults.

According to local sources,The insurgents had strategically laid ambushes at entry points and bulldozed roads at several locations, including Sani to Noorgama. Pakistani forces also came under attack in Gazzan and Mashk, while officials confirmed that six soldiers were wounded in an assault at Gazzan Seinkori.

Some Video clips circulating on social media show destroyed military vehicles and uniforms, along with other belongings of Pakistani soldiers scattered along the roadside. According to regional sources, the area remains under the control of Baloch insurgents.

Meanwhile, security forces have blocked traffic at Anjira RCD Cross, shutting down movement on the highway.

Eyewitnesses reported that forces attempted to abduct two young men traveling to Zehri, subjecting them to severe torture. However, passengers resisted, preventing the soldiers from taking the youths away.

Authorities have not released any official details regarding the situation, while internet services in the region remain suspended.
