In Kharan city, a firing incident on Shopping Road left one man dead and another seriously injured.
According to details, armed assailants opened fire, killing Zakaullah Mengal, son of Amir Bakhsh, a resident of Noshki, on the spot. Another individual, Tariq, son of Muhammad Azam Faqirzai, sustained serious injuries. He was initially provided medical aid at the DHQ Hospital before being referred to Quetta for further treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Initial reports suggest that the attack may have been the result of an old enmity.
