Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has issued a statement demanding that the families of two forcibly disappeared youth Asim s/o Musa Khan Yalanzi and Israr s/o Faqir Muhammad Yalanzi, be informed about their whereabouts.
According to the VBMP, the two were detained by security forces near Wadh checkpoint in Khuzdar last night while they were returning home from the market. The organization stated that the detainees were taken to an unknown location, and their current status or the agency holding them remains undisclosed.
VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch condemned the enforced disappearance of both youths and urged the government and heads of state institutions to clarify their status. He stated that if there are any charges against Asim and Israr, they should be produced in court. If they are innocent, their immediate release must be ensured to spare their families from further psychological distress.
