Clashes erupted in the Greshag area of Khuzdar, Balochistan, between unidentified armed men and members of a state-backed armed group commonly referred to as the “Death squad.” According to sources, the confrontation took place in the Badrang Maru area on the evening of June 20 and continued for an extended period, with heavy gunfire reported from the scene.
Local reports indicate that casualties were sustained on both sides, with several individuals reportedly killed or injured during the exchange.
It is worth noting that similar attacks on death squad operatives have occurred in the past across Balochistan, often claimed by Baloch separatist groups. However, no organization has so far claimed responsibility for this latest incident.
