The Baloch Republican Army (BRA) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan. In a statement issued to the media, BRA spokesperson Sarbaz Baloch said that Baloch Freedom fighters targeted operatives of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, near the Tehsil Bazaar in Sui with hand grenade attacks. As a result, one ISI operative was killed and several others were injured.
In a separate operation, Baloch Freedom fighters blew up a 36-inch diameter gas pipeline that transports gas from the Zain Koh gas field to the Sui Purification Plant. The explosion disrupted the gas supply to the plant.
The BRA spokesperson confirmed that the group takes full responsibility for both operations.
