Turbat: Sit-In Protest on CPEC Road Enters Fifth Day Demanding Recovery of Forcibly Disappeared Ghulam Jan

In Turbat, the main city of Kech district in Balochistan, the family of Ghulam Jan, who was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces on May 26 continues their protest sit-in on the CPEC road for the fifth consecutive day.

According to sources, a large number of men, women, and children are participating in the protest. However, no official response or progress has been made by the state authorities regarding the demands of the demonstrators.

The family of the missing Ghulam Jan stated that they have only one demand: if there are any allegations against Ghulam Jan, he should be presented in a court of law; otherwise, he must be released immediately.

It is worth noting that families of missing persons in Balochistan have previously held protests across various regions, sometimes for weeks, demanding the safe recovery of their loved ones. Protesters have consistently called for justice, but authorities have responded with nothing more than empty promises.
