Five Forcibly Disappeared Individuals Released in Kech and Mastung, Two Others Newly Enforcedly Disappeared

Balochistan: In the districts of Kech and Mastung, five previously enforcedly disappeared individuals have been released, while two others have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces.

According to sources, five individuals were released in Turbat, the main city of Kech. They were initially transferred to the Turbat police station, and later handed over to their families after being informed.

The released individuals have been identified as:

  • Ghulam Qadir s/o Dost, resident of Buleda
  • Dil Murad s/o Muhammad Hussain, resident of Askani Aapsar
  • Zakir Haider s/o Haider
  • Zaid s/o Mullah Abdullah, resident of Salala Bazaar, Aapsar
  • Abdul Majeed s/o Abdul Ghani, resident of Gilli, Buleda

On the other hand, two new cases of enforced disappearances have been reported in Mastung.

Aurangzeb s/o Muhammad Umar Muhammad Shahi, a resident of Killi Azizabad, was forcibly disappeared around 2:00 AM last night after being detained from his home by Pakistani forces. Family sources have confirmed the incident.

Similarly, Ghulam Jan s/o Ghulam Sarwar, a Levies personnel and resident of Azizabad No. 2, was also taken from his home at approximately 3:00 AM and has since been missing. His family has appealed to the Deputy Commissioner to take immediate and effective steps to ensure his safe recovery.
