
In the Red Zone of Kharan district, Balochistan, the office of Pakistan’s Military Intelligence (MI) was targeted in an armed attack.
According to sources, around 9 PM tonight, armed men launched an assault on the MI office, during which gunfire and explosions were heard in the area.
No official statement has yet been released regarding any casualties or damage caused by the attack.
In the past, such attacks have been claimed by Baloch separatist groups; however, no group has yet claimed responsibility for this incident.
It is noteworthy that earlier today, armed men attacked the Levies police station in Mastung city, setting vehicles on fire and fleeing after seizing weapons and other equipment from the Levies personnel.
