QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: In a series of coordinated attacks in Balochistan, Baloch freedom fighters have blocked the main highway in Basima, Washuk, launched a heavy attack on a military camp in Kharan and ambushed mineral transport vehicles near Tftan.

According to local sources, the blockade on the Basima highway began around 2 pm today, with a large number of militants conducting strict searches of vehicles passing through the area. The checkpoint has remained active for several hours.

In Kharan, Baloch militants targeted the Pakistani military camp at Shahogiri between Kharan and Washuk on July 2. The attack involved the use of RPG rockets, light machine guns, grenade launchers, and other automatic weapons. The assault lasted for an extended period and caused casualties and material damage to the forces stationed there. Detailed information about the losses is still awaited. This attack follows a recent wave of assaults on Pakistani military checkpoints in Balochistan, including strikes on the Wadh and Gazi checkpoints.

Additionally, armed men attacked vehicles transporting minerals from Saindak near Taftan. The ambush occurred last night between Taftan Bazaar and the station, damaging the vehicles involved. The extent of the damage and any casualties remain unclear.

No group has claimed responsibility for these incidents so far.
