BRG Claims Responsibility for Attack on Pakistani Forces in Naseerabad

Quetta: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani forces in Naseerabad district.

In a statement issued to the media, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said that on Tuesday morning, BRG fighters targeted three Pakistani security personnel in the Rabai area of Naseerabad using a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED). According to the statement, the personnel were on foot patrol along a gas pipeline when they were targeted.

As a result of the explosion, two soldiers were killed on the spot, while a third sustained serious injuries.

The spokesperson said that the Baloch Republican Guards accept responsibility for the attack and warned that such actions would continue until what the group describes as the freedom of Balochistan is achieved.
