
Quetta: The Balochistan High Court has reserved its decision on bail applications filed by detainees of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Beebow Baloch, Gulzadi Baloch, Sibghatullah Shah Ji and Beebagar Baloch.
During the hearing, defense lawyers presented detailed arguments before the court. After hearing submissions from both sides, the Chief Justice reserved the verdict on the bail pleas, stating that the decision would be announced in the coming days.
Following the court proceedings, Advocate Jadeen Dashti, a member of the Balochistan Bar Council, along with other lawyers, spoke to the media and expressed hope that the BYC detainees would receive justice and be released soon.
The bail applications are being closely watched by legal, social, and human rights circles, as the case is considered significant in the context of constitutional rights and human rights protections in Balochistan.
