Shikarpur: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for an attack on the Sukkur Express near Shikarpur.
In a statement released to the media, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said that BRG fighters targeted the Sukkur Express, which was traveling from Jacobabad toward Sindh, near the Hamayun Sharif area of Shikarpur. According to the statement, the railway track was sabotaged using explosives, resulting in damage to both the railway track and the train.
The spokesperson said that the operation was carried out as part of the group’s ongoing campaign and reiterated that such actions would continue until what he described as the “freedom of Balochistan” is achieved.
