
In Balochistan’s Kalat district, two brothers were found severely injured with their throats slit in the Killi Mughalzai area, after unknown assailants allegedly attempted to slaughter them. The victims were immediately rushed to Civil Hospital Kalat, where they received initial medical treatment before being referred to Quetta for advanced care.
The injured have been identified as Ali Akbar Mengal and Abdul Manan Mengal, sons of Faiz Muhammad Mengal. According to hospital sources, both brothers remain in critical condition.
Upon receiving information about the incident, SHO City Police Station Kalat, Abdul Majeed Raisani, arrived at the scene with a police team and assisted in shifting the victims to the hospital. At the hospital, MS Dr. Nasrullah Langove declared an emergency, while surgeons and medical staff provided urgent treatment. Laboratory in-charge Mujeebullah arranged blood supplies on priority.
Police say the motive behind the attack is still unknown, but investigations are underway from multiple angles.
