According to an official notification, the decision was made following directives from the Home Department and the Transport Department in view of the province’s law and order situation.

The notification stated that the suspension was a precautionary measure to maintain public safety, and all secretaries and relevant officials have been instructed to ensure full compliance. The authority also emphasized that the matter should be treated as “urgent” and “of high importance.”

Sources said the decision was taken amid heightened security alerts ahead of Baloch Martyrs’ Day on November 13, as intelligence reports warned of possible attacks by Baloch armed groups.
