Quetta: Baloch activist Advocate Shaari Baloch has appealed for the safe recovery of her father, Wahid Kambar Baloch, whose enforced disappearance has been widely known for more than a year.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote that her father is a heart patient and that the family is deeply worried about his health and safety. She urged the authorities to present him before a court of law if he is accused of any wrongdoing, emphasizing that he has a fundamental right to liberty, which she said has been violated by the state and its agencies.
Shaari concluded her post with the hashtag #ProduceWahidKambarBeforeCourt, calling attention to what she described as an enforced disappearance.
It is noteworthy that Wahid Kambar Baloch was disappeared by Pakistani security agencies in Iran on July 19, 2024. Since then, his family has staged protests in various cities across Balochistan, demanding that he be produced before a court of law.
