Turbat: A motorcyclist was killed and another injured when a Probox vehicle collided with a motorcycle near Sami area on the CPEC Highway in Kech district.
According to reports, Jamal, son of Rahim Bakhsh and resident of Hoshap Tank, died on the spot, while Ahmad Khan, son of Shakarullah and resident of Balgatar, sustained injuries. The Levies Force arrived at the scene soon after the incident and shifted the body and the injured to a nearby hospital.
This accident occurred shortly after a similar incident on the same highway early Saturday morning, in which three people were killed and one injured.
Meanwhile, in another incident in Kech’s Kor Nadi area, two people were injured after armed robbers opened fire during an attempted motorcycle snatching. Police said the assailants fired shots when the victims resisted. The injured, identified as Yousuf son of Abbas Khan and Khan Muhammad son of Muhammad Hanif, both residents of Koshkalat, were shifted to Turbat Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Police and local authorities have urged the public to exercise caution on roads and report any accidents or suspicious activity immediately.
