Dera Bugti: Bodies of Three Forcibly Disappeared Persons Recovered

Dera Bugti: The bodies of three forcibly disappeared individuals from Dera Bugti have been recovered after they were reportedly killed in a staged encounter by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Sohbatpur, Balochistan, last night.

Two of the deceased have been identified as Jameel son of Khawand Bakhsh Bugti and Pir Jan son of Karman Bugti, both residents of Nawab Bazaar, Dera Bugti and belonging to the Marhata sub-clan of the Bugti tribe. The third victim has been identified as Hazar Bugti, though further details about him are not yet known.

It is worth noting that Jameel Bugti and Pir Jan Bugti were forcibly disappeared by ISI personnel from Dera Bugti city on March 19, 2025.

Earlier this year, on June 12, three other previously disappeared young men were also killed in a similar alleged “fake encounter” by the so-called CTD in Sui. They were identified as Yousaf son of Shah Nawaz Bugti, Ali Baig son of Papi Bugti, and Zahid son of Usman Bugti.
