Awaran: Four Young Men Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

Awaran: Pakistani forces allegedly raided the Mashkay area of Awaran and Kolwah in Turbat, forcibly disappearing four young men, local sources reported.

According to details, during a raid in Mashkay’s Kuch neighborhood, two residents Obaid Ghulam son of Ghulam Muhammad and Shafiq Ahmed son of Rafiq Baloch were detained and transferred to an undisclosed location.

The Baloch National Movement’s (BNM) human rights wing, PAANK, confirmed the incident, stating that Obaid is a laborer and Shafiq a student, both from Kuch.

Similarly, in Kolwah, Pakistani forces reportedly detained Manzoor Baloch son of Muhammad and Bilal Baloch son of Allah Bakhsh, residents of the Ashal area, who were also taken to an unknown location.

Human rights groups have repeatedly accused Pakistani forces of carrying out enforced disappearances in Balochistan, a claim authorities routinely deny.
