Pakistani Forces Claim Killing of Seven Suspects in Sherani Operation

QUETTA: Pakistani security forces on Friday claimed to have killed seven individuals during an intelligence-based operation in the Sherani district of Balochistan.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched following intelligence reports about the presence of suspected militants in the area. However, no details were released regarding the identities or affiliations of those killed.

The latest incident comes just a week after security forces reported killing eight individuals in a similar operation in the same district. As with the current operation, the identities of those killed were not disclosed at that time.

The claims could not be independently verified, and authorities have not provided further information.
