Major Gwhram Baloch, spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front, said that at around 3:00 p.m. on October 1, BLF fighters targeted vehicles supplying the colonial Seindak project in Chagai’s Padg Tado area with a close-range grenade launcher, causing heavy damage to the vehicles.
The spokesperson said police personnel who were assigned to protect those vehicles and the cargo were present and could easily have been targeted, but out of humanity and Baloch solidarity the police were not attacked. He warned the vehicle owners to refrain from plundering Baloch resources and from facilitating anti-Baloch projects.
He added that the Balochistan Liberation Front accepts responsibility for the attack on the vehicles supplying the Seindak project in Chagai.
