The series of enforced disappearances in Balochistan continues unabated. On the evening of August 6, Pakistani forces raided a residential house in the city of Mastung and forcibly disappeared a student after taking him into custody.

According to the affected family, personnel from the Frontier Corps (FC) and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), accompanied by plainclothes officers, were involved in the raid. They arrested Maidan son of Ghulam Qadir Dehwar and shifted him to an unknown location. Maidan Dehwar is reportedly a student at a local college. The family has expressed deep concern over his disappearance, stating they have no information about his wellbeing.
