Gwadar: The Baloch Women Forum (BWF) has confirmed that its Central Organizer, Dr. Shalee Baloch, was arrested along with several team members by Gwadar police in Surbandan, a coastal area near Gwadar. The detained individuals were reportedly taken to an undisclosed location.
According to BWF, Dr. Shalee Baloch and her team were engaged in a peaceful awareness campaign related to preparations for an upcoming seminar planned in Gwadar. The BWF has condemned the arrests, calling them an unjustified use of administrative power.
As of now, no official statement has been issued by the Gwadar district administration or police regarding the detentions.
