The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for a bomb attack targeting police personnel in Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch, BRG fighters carried out a remote-controlled bomb attack earlier today on the National Highway near the university area of Dera Murad Jamali. The attack targeted a police vehicle allegedly “occupying” the highway. As a result, the police reportedly suffered both human and material losses.
The spokesperson warned police forces once again, stating: “We reiterate our warning to the police to stop harassing the public and to put an end to extortion and bribery. If such practices continue, our attacks will intensify.”
He further confirmed, “Our organization accepts full responsibility for this attack. These operations will continue until Balochistan achieves independence.”
