Islamabad: Protest Camp Set Up for Release of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Baloch Yekjehti Committee Leadership

A protest camp has been established in front of the Islamabad Press Club by the families of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other leaders of the Baloch Yekjehti Committee (BYC), demanding their immediate release. The camp includes relatives of several victims of enforced disappearances who are raising their voices against illegal detentions and for the recovery of their loved ones.

Families of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Gulzadi Baloch, Beebow Baloch, Sibghatullah Shah Ji, and Bebagr Baloch are among the protestors. According to the demonstrators, all of these individuals have been held in custody for the past four months without any legal proceedings, which they say is a blatant violation of fundamental human rights and the Constitution of Pakistan.

The protestors are demanding the immediate release of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and all other BYC leaders, and an end to the practice of enforced disappearances.
