In separate incidents of violence in Balochistan’s Awaran and Kech, Pakistani security forces allegedly forcibly disappeared two individuals from Mashkay, while mortar shelling in Gorkop claimed the lives of two civilians and left several others injured.

According to sources, two young men Muslim s/o Abdul Ghani and Namroze s/o Taj Mohammad were reportedly detained by security forces on July 5 in the Kallar area of Mashkay. The duo, residents of Mehi, have since been missing, and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Meanwhile, in the Gorkop area of Kech district, security forces allegedly fired mortar shells into civilian-populated areas. The attack resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to at least seven others. The deceased were identified as Ali s/o Ghulam and Shahbaz s/o Dosten, who succumbed to their injuries later.

The injured include Naseer s/o Mehrab, Jameel s/o Dal Murad, Jamal s/o Hameed, Barkat, Iqbal, and Wazir Ghulam.
