Gorkop: Two Injured in Mortar Shelling by Pakistani Forces

Gorkop, Kech: Two civilians were seriously injured on Sunday morning following mortar shelling and gunfire by Pakistani security forces in the Gorkop area of Balochistan’s Kech, according to local sources.

The injured individuals have been identified as Liaqat and Ghulam Qadir. Witnesses report that multiple mortar shells were fired into residential areas, causing panic among local residents. Both victims were reportedly struck by shrapnel and sustained severe injuries.

Sources further claim that the injured were taken to a nearby military camp for medical treatment but have not been allowed to be transferred to any civilian medical facility. Additionally, security forces allegedly issued strict warnings to the injured, instructing them not to speak about the incident with anyone, threatening serious consequences if they did so.
