Kech, Balochistan: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on vehicles transporting minerals in the Nodaz area of Kech.
According to Azad Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA, the attack took place at 2:00 PM on July 3, targeting vehicles allegedly involved in the transportation of what the group refers to as “looted national resources.”
The statement issued by the BLA confirmed that the vehicles were damaged in the attack, and emphasized that the action was part of their broader campaign against the extraction and exploitation of Balochistan’s natural resources without the consent or benefit of the local population.
No casualties have been reported at the time of this publication, and official statements from law enforcement or the provincial government have not yet been released.
The BLA has been involved in a long-running insurgency, citing economic and political marginalization of the Baloch people. Attacks targeting infrastructure, resource convoys, and security forces have intensified in recent months, drawing increased national and international attention.
