Turbat: The Baloch Women Forum has strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Rubina Baloch, a female health worker, calling it a serious violation of human rights.

According to a statement posted on the Forum’s social media page, Rubina Baloch, daughter of Muhibullah and a Lady Health Visitor (LHV) by profession, was forcibly disappeared on Monday around 4 PM from Overseas Colony, Turbat. At the time of the incident, she was reportedly at her sister’s residence.

Eyewitnesses stated that unidentified individuals illegally detained Rubina and forcibly took her away. Rubina is a resident of Siri Kalag, Gorkop. The incident has sparked widespread concern and unrest in the region.

Local civil society members and human rights activists have urged the state’s law enforcement agencies to acknowledge the ground realities and ensure that women are protected from inhumane practices such as enforced disappearances.

The Forum emphasized that such actions not only violate constitutional and international human rights norms but also deeply traumatize communities, especially when women are targeted.
