Wahid Kambar is a national asset whom neither the nation nor his family can ever forget. Shari Kambar

Advocate Shari Kambar, daughter of veteran Baloch pro-freedom leader and forcibly disappeared Ustad Wahid Kambar, has said that her father’s life is a remarkable tale of resistance, a struggle that began in his youth and continues into his old age with the same unshaken resolve.

Speaking to the media, she said Wahid Kambar is not just an individual but a symbol of an entire movement, a living ideology that stood up against state oppression, injustice and exploitative systems in Balochistan.

Shari Kambar highlighted various forms of state repression her father has faced, the most recent being his ongoing enforced disappearance case pending before the Balochistan High Court. “Despite a court order requesting a report from the federal government, no such report has been submitted to date,” she said. “This deliberate delay by the state appears to be a tactic to bury the case and erase the issue with time.”

She emphasized that the Baloch nation will never forget Wahid Kambar, nor will his family. “He is a national asset, and no amount of delay or silence can erase his legacy.
