A large-scale military operation by Pakistani forces is ongoing in various areas of Mastung in Balochistan.
According to local sources, early this morning, Pakistani forces launched a military operation in the Kardgap area of Mastung, where they reportedly harassed and physically abused local residents. Over forty military vehicles are said to be participating in the operation.
So far, no confirmed reports of casualties or arrests have been received.
It is worth noting that on June 21, fighters of the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) took full control of Kardgap town, inflicted heavy damage on administrative offices, seized all weapons, and set fire to the local Levies station and NADRA office.
BLF fighters reportedly held control of Kardgap from 7:00 AM to midnight. The following day, BLF fighters also established a checkpoint in Dasht, another area of Mastung, surrounding the Levies station for several hours and took possession of government weapons.
Following these incidents, the Deputy Commissioner dismissed 30 Levies personnel from service.
