The spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Jeeyand Baloch, issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for two separate operations carried out by BLA fighters in Quetta and Kharan. According to the statement, a Pakistani intelligence asset was killed, and the machinery of an exploitative company was destroyed.
The spokesperson stated that today, BLA fighters targeted and killed Bilal Arahi, a resident of Lahore, Punjab, near Wahdat Colony in Quetta. He was reportedly an operative for Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, working under the guise of a medical supplier. Bilal was allegedly involved in facilitating the Pakistani military by gathering intelligence, recruiting informants, and assisting in military operations.
In a separate incident in the Sarawan area of Kharan, BLA fighters attacked the site of a road construction project linked to what they called an “exploitative company.” The fighters set fire to the machinery at the site, destroying two tractors along with three other heavy machines and additional equipment.
The spokesperson warned local contractors to refrain from participating in such exploitative projects, stating that if they continue to cooperate, they will be held responsible for any personal or financial losses they incur.
