
Tel Aviv : The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has resulted in 28 fatalities and over 3,000 injuries, according to Israeli officials.
Israel’s emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, reported that four people were killed on Sunday morning alone, with more than 900 injured during the 12-day escalation. Additionally, 401 individuals were treated for psychological trauma and panic-related conditions.
The Israeli Ministry of Health confirmed that 3,238 people have received medical treatment in hospitals, with many arriving independently or via emergency services.
According to the Israeli military, Iran launched 550 ballistic missiles and nearly 1,000 drones during the recent offensive. While the majority were intercepted and destroyed mid-air, 31 missiles struck populated areas, and one drone hit a residential building, causing structural damage and casualties.
Authorities also stated that more than 9,000 people have been displaced due to complete or partial destruction of their homes in the targeted regions.
This marks one of the most intense escalations in recent years between the two regional adversaries.
