Quetta June 22: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a coordinated attack in the Dasht area near Quetta, where its Freedom Fighters seized control of the Spezend Levies Station and established multiple checkpoints on key highways.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening at approximately 7:00 PM. According to the BLF, its fighters referred to as “Sarmachars” took over the Levies outpost, detained all stationed personnel and confiscated a cache of official weapons.
Following the station’s capture, BLF units set up a checkpoint on the Quetta–Sibi highway in front of the installation and began inspecting vehicles. Additionally, the road linking Dasht to Mastung was brought under their control. Armed patrols continued in the Umar Dhur area and surrounding regions until around 11:00 PM.
In an official statement, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch declared that the operation reflects the group’s growing strength and strategic capabilities. He emphasized that such actions would continue until what the BLF calls the “liberation of occupied Balochistan” is achieved.
