A large group of armed men has taken full control of Kardagap city, a suburban area of Mastung in Balochistan, after setting up blockades at various points on the Quetta-Taftan main highway.
According to local sources, the armed men seized the Levies police station, confiscated weapons and official vehicles, and later set the station on fire. The NADRA office was also torched, and government records were taken after the armed group took over the government complex.
Sources reported that during the blockade, the assailants killed four individuals who resisted and abducted six others, taking them to an unknown location.
At present, armed men continue to patrol Kardagap city extensively.
The incident reportedly began when the armed group blocked the main highway and laid siege to the area.
So far, no official response has been issued by the local administration or government authorities.
It is worth noting that similar incidents of armed groups taking control of towns have occurred in the past, often claimed by Baloch insurgent organizations.
