Mastung, Balochistan — June 20, 2025
Unidentified armed assailants opened fire on trailers carrying equipment for the Saindak mining project near Khadkocha, close to Balochistan Hotel in the Mastung, local sources reported.
The targeted trailers were reportedly transporting generators and other machinery when the attackers struck, damaging the equipment. Fortunately, the drivers remained unharmed and no casualties were reported.
The assailants managed to flee the scene following the attack. As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
Authorities are investigating the matter, and security has been heightened in the area amid concerns over repeated attacks on infrastructure related to development projects in the province.
