In the Mand area of Kech district, Balochistan, unknown armed assailants targeted a Pakistani forces’ checkpost in an attack marked by intense gunfire and explosions.
According to sources, the attack occurred around 8:30 PM in the Mahir area of Mand, where the assailants opened fire and reportedly used explosives. The sounds of gunfire and blasts echoed for an extended period.
The attack is said to have caused both human and material losses to the forces, though no official statement has been issued by the authorities so far.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
