Dera Bugti: ISI Personnel Targeted in Grenade Attack, Gas Pipeline Blown Up in Zain Koh

In Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district, unknown armed assailants carried out a grenade attack targeting personnel of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, in the Sui sub-division. According to initial reports, the attack caused casualties and financial damage, though official confirmation from authorities is still awaited.

In a separate incident, a major 36-inch diameter gas pipeline in the Zain Koh area of Dera Bugti was destroyed in an explosion by unidentified individuals. Following the blast, gas supply from the Zain Koh gas field to the Sui Purification Plant was suspended.

The explosion ignited a fire in the pipeline, prompting emergency response efforts by the local administration to control the blaze.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for either of the attacks.
