Balochistan witnessed a series of coordinated attacks on Pakistani forces across multiple districts, as unidentified armed men launched assaults on military installations and surveillance infrastructure.
In Panjgur, unknown assailants attacked a checkpoint of Pakistani forces located at Qalam Chowk in the Chitkan area using a hand grenade. Following the explosion, heavy gunfire was reported in the vicinity, causing panic among local residents.
Meanwhile, in Kech’s Zamuran region, specifically in the Siah Dem area, armed men targeted surveillance cameras installed by Pakistani forces. According to sources, after successfully destroying the cameras, the attackers also shot down a reconnaissance drone hovering overhead.
In a separate but possibly coordinated incident, armed assailants attacked a checkpoint of Pakistani forces in the Dasht area of Quetta. Eyewitnesses reported an intense exchange of gunfire between the attackers and security personnel. However, no casualties have been confirmed so far, and further details are awaited.
No group has claimed responsibility for any of the attacks at this time. These incidents come amid rising tensions in the region, where armed resistance groups have frequently targeted state installations in protest against alleged military operations and surveillance.
