Turbat, Balochistan : The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for taking Muhammad Hanif Noorzai, the Assistant Commissioner of Tump, into custody during an intelligence-based operation in the Sarenkan area.
According to a statement issued by Major Gwahram Baloch, the spokesperson for the BLF, the operation was carried out by the BLF’s (Sarmachar) fighters based on information received from the organization’s secret wing. The Assistant Commissioner was reportedly taken into custody along with his family members, official guards, and driver.
However, the BLF stated that in accordance with their “humanitarian and ethical values,” the commissioner’s family, guards, and driver were released safely and respectfully and sent back to their home. Assistant Commissioner Noorzai, on the other hand, has been handed over to the BLF’s investigative team for further inquiry.
The organization has announced that a formal decision regarding the Assistant Commissioner will be made public following the completion of the investigation.
In the statement, the BLF also issued a warning to the Pakistani state institutions, stating that any military or aggressive attempts to recover the Assistant Commissioner during this period would be met with consequences, for which the state would bear full responsibility.
