Quetta: Two killed, seven injured in powerful explosion

A powerful bomb explosion occurred in the Killi Mangala area of Hanna, located in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to seven others.

According to police, the explosion took place within the jurisdiction of the Hanna Police Station, in Killi Mangala. The deceased have been identified as Abdul Salam, son of Abdullah, and Abdul Nafi, son of Abdullah — both residents of Killi Mangala, Hanna.

The injured include Janan, son of Paind Khan, resident of Killi Haji Salam Hanna, Saif ur Rehman, son of Naseebullah, resident of Hanna, Samiullah, son of Abdul Manan, resident of Hanna, Zabihullah, Muhammad Asif, son of Fida Muhammad, resident of Hanna, Naseebullah, son of Sultan Shah and Jamil Ahmed, son of Abdul Manan, resident of Killi Mangala, Hanna.

The injured were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, where they are receiving medical treatment. Further investigations are underway to determine the nature and target of the explosion.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
