BLF Claims Responsibility for Killing Two Coast Guard Personnel in Jiwani and Destroying an FC Vehicle in Washuk IED Attack

The spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Major Gwahram Baloch, stated that on May 29, around 2 PM, BLF fighters launched an attack on a Coast Guards checkpoint in the coastal area of Sondi, Jiwani. The attack was carried out while the personnel were allegedly extorting forced taxes from local fishermen. In the assault, two Coast Guard personnel were killed. BLF fighters seized their rifles and other military equipment. The slain personnel were identified as Ansar and Iftikhar Shah. This operation was executed by the rapid-response fighters of the BLF Tactical Combat Unit.

He added that in another attack on the same day, May 29, 2025, BLF fighters targeted a convoy of Pakistan’s paramilitary force, the Frontier Corps (FC), with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Suken, Dashtuk area of Washuk. The FC convoy was returning to its camp after conducting operations in the region and nearby villages. The IED explosion completely destroyed one of the military vehicles in the convoy, resulting in the death and injury of all personnel on board.

The spokesperson said the Balochistan Liberation Front claims responsibility for both operations and warns the enemy that BLF fighters are ever-ready to confront them as a deadly force at every step throughout Balochistan.
