Kolwah, Balochistan The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a deadly bomb attack targeting Pakistani military personnel in the Sajdi Bazaar area of Gishkore, Kolwah, on the morning of May 24, 2025.
In a statement released by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, he confirmed that the BLF fighters carried out the IED (Improvised Explosive Device) attack around 9:00 AM. The target was a group of four Pakistani soldiers who were conducting a road screening operation to secure military convoys passing through the area.
According to the BLF, the fighters had planted the bomb in advance and were waiting for the forces to arrive. The explosion killed two soldiers on the spot, including Naik Wali Subhan, a resident of Nowshera, and seriously injured two others.
Major Gwahram Baloch stated that Pakistani forces often conceal the names and actual death tolls of soldiers killed in clashes with Baloch fighters throughout Balochistan.
He further warned non-Baloch servicemen particularly Pashtun, Saraiki, and Sindhi soldiers — to reconsider their roles in what he described as the “Punjabi generals’ campaign of Baloch genocide.” The spokesperson urged them to refuse deployment in Balochistan and to refrain from participating in operations against the Baloch people.
The BLF also announced that video footage of the IED explosion in Sajdi Bazaar would soon be released through the group’s media wing, Ashoob.
