Quetta – May 18, 2025: The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for the killing of Sohail Khan, a suspected agent of Pakistan’s Military Intelligence (MI) and a settler from Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab.
According to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, BLF fighters shot and killed Sohail Khan inside a bathhouse shop located in the Mill Housing Scheme area on Saryab Road in Quetta during the evening of May 18.
The spokesperson stated that the operation was carried out based on intelligence gathered over several months by the organization’s internal intelligence wing. Sohail Khan was allegedly operating undercover in Balochistan to advance state-sponsored agendas in the region.
The BLF claims that after confirming the identity, role, and movements of the target, a planned strike was executed and brought to a “logical conclusion.”
Major Gwahram Baloch reiterated that the BLF takes full responsibility for the action, describing it as part of their broader campaign against covert military operations and state-sponsored demographic changes in Balochistan.
