
Balochistan – Two separate incidents targeting Pakistani security forces were reported on Monday in the districts of Mastung and Kech, highlighting the growing insecurity and resistance in the region.
In Mastung, unidentified assailants carried out a grenade attack on a checkpoint of the Pakistani forces located at the CCM post on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway. According to sources, the attackers threw a hand grenade at the post and fled the scene immediately. No casualties have been reported so far.
Meanwhile, in the Gomazi area of Tump, Kech district, armed men intercepted a vehicle transporting rations and supplies for a military outpost at approximately 9:00 AM. The vehicle, along with all its contents, was taken away by the attackers. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly released after being warned.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for either of the incidents.
These attacks come amid rising tensions in the province, where armed resistance and military operations have led to a worsening security situation and increasing concerns among local populations.
