BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Kolwah and Jhao

Balochistan – May 13, 2025: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks targeting Pakistani military personnel in the Kolwah and Jhao regions of Balochistan.

In a statement released by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the organization said that on May 12, 2025, around 4 PM, BLF fighters launched a two-pronged assault on a Pakistani military outpost located at Shaho Batal in Kolwah. The spokesperson reported that the attack inflicted casualties and material losses on the occupying forces.

The following day, on May 13, around 7 AM, BLF fighters carried out another operation in the Gazi Sodan area of Jhao, in Awaran district. According to the BLF, a group of security personnel assigned to guard a construction company were targeted using an anti-personnel landmine. The mine had been planted in advance by BLF fighters at a known security position.

As the security personnel advanced toward their post, the explosive device detonated, resulting in the instant death of two soldiers and serious injuries to two others.

Major Gwahram Baloch reaffirmed the BLF’s commitment to continuing its armed struggle until Balochistan’s full independence and the withdrawal of occupying forces is achieved.
