Major Gahram Baloch, spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), issued a statement to the media saying that in the early hours of May 2, occupying Pakistani forces surrounded various villages in Kolwah, including Kunri, Siakl, Gishang, and Bani. The forces violated the sanctity of homes and conducted house-to-house searches. At 12:40 PM, BLF fighters ambushed a military convoy of four vehicles arriving from Gishkor at the Bani area and launched a heavy attack using sophisticated weapons. Two of the vehicles were severely hit, resulting in significant casualties and financial losses to the enemy forces.
He added that it is worth noting that on May 2, death squad operatives backed by Pakistani forces shot and martyred Rajid Baloch, son of Allah Dad, a resident of Kolwah Siakl, in the Daraski area of Awaran.
The spokesperson said BLF has received reports of theft, robbery, and violence against unarmed civilians in different areas of Awaran and Kolwah.
He stated, “Through the media, we consider it our duty to inform the people of Kolwah and urge them to timely report such anti-movement elements to BLF fighters so they can be brought to justice, ensuring the safety of lives and property from these enemies of the nation and society.”
The spokesperson confirmed that the BLF claims responsibility for this attack and affirmed that they will continue targeting the occupying forces and military installations until Balochistan achieves independence.
