Nasirabad, Balochistan: Armed men attacked the Jaffar Express passenger train in the Nautal area of Nasirabad district on Wednesday and the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has claimed responsibility.
In a statement, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said the group’s fighters targeted the train with light and heavy weapons near Khalidabad, within the limits of Nautal police station, on Wednesday evening.
He claimed Pakistani army personnel were travelling on the train and that the attack killed and injured several soldiers and caused heavy damage to the train.
