KECH, BALOCHISTAN: Baloch women fighters reportedly attack Pakistani forces camp, set up roadblock in Buleda area of Kech
According to source, Women fighters reportedly attacked a Pakistani army camp and set up a roadblock to search passing vehicles in Buleda.
The camp in Buleda’s Alandur area was reportedly targeted in an assault involving a large number of women fighters and the operation continued for a considerable time.
Separately, women fighters were reported to have established a checkpoint in the Minaz area of Buleda, where they stopped and searched passing vehicles. They also reportedly addressed members of the public.
The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has a women’s unit known as the Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD). Similar attacks on military camps and vehicle searches at roadblocks were previously reported in Jusak in Turbat, as well as in Washuk, Kalat and Khuzdar districts and other areas.
No group has formally claimed responsibility for the latest incident. However, a video circulating on social media appears to show a woman addressing the public with her face covered by a BLF flag.
