Awaran: BLF Claims Responsibility for Attack on Pakistani Forces in Malar

Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), has claimed responsibility for the May 1 attack on Pakistani forces in the Malar area of Awaran. According to his statement, BLF fighters targeted security personnel assigned to protect a road construction company using heavy weapons while they were on duty overseeing the roadwork. The attack reportedly inflicted both human and material losses on the forces.

He stated that under the guise of development, colonial powers are building roads across Balochistan to facilitate military movement and accelerate the plunder of resources—citing the Pakistan-China exploitative road project as a clear example. He noted that many people were forcibly disappeared during its construction, and several villages were displaced. According to the spokesperson, the occupying Pakistani army has forced hundreds of villages to relocate under this policy, and BLF fighters are resisting these actions with determination.

The statement emphasized that the Hoshab-to-Awaran segment of the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor is part of the same exploitative agenda, which BLF is actively opposing.

Major Gwahram concluded by claiming responsibility for the attack on the Pakistan-China M-8 road construction company and Pakistani forces, vowing that such attacks on occupying forces and their economic interests will continue until the independence of Balochistan is achieved.
