Families of Enforced Disappearance Victims Meet British Parliamentarians at Baloch National Movement Event

At an event organized by the Baloch National Movement (BNM) titled “Balochistan Lobbying Day”, families of forcibly disappeared individuals met with British members of Parliament and shared details about the disappearances of their loved ones.

Among the attendees was the mother of Zakir Majeed Baloch, a forcibly disappeared Baloch student leader, who recounted the ordeal of her son’s abduction and her years-long struggle for justice.

She stated that Zakir Majeed was forcibly disappeared in 2009, and since then, she has been tirelessly seeking justice, knocking on every door.

Zakir’s mother called on the international community to raise their voice against the ongoing enforced disappearances in Balochistan and to stand in solidarity with the affected families.
